ABOUT Lucas
Artistically driven and creatively motivated, Lucas Ibarra received his BFA in Fashion Design at the University of North Texas in the Spring of 2024. Unable to shake his need and commitment to artistic expression, he shifted his focus from the study of psychology to instead pursue his true passion of garment construction. Equipped with exceptional skills in pattern making, sewing, technical design, garment illustration, and Adobe Creative Suite, Ibarra is a prime example of North Texas’ devotion to the future of the fashion industry. Influenced by the powerful women in his consumed media and taking heavy inspiration from alternative culture, he designs for individuals who love showing a bit of skin, are affirmed in their own alluringness, and stand firm in their power. Ibarra commits himself to the little details and pours individuality into every stitch, seam, and hem.
